Overview

Located along the tidal Bear River, we have created a unique design of camp cabins, which combine upscale camping accommodations, gazebos, and an exceptional view of the tidal river. In addition to our camp cabins, we also offer tent and RV camping sites, complete with brick fireplaces, tables and chairs and a beautiful view of the river. Washroom facilities are conveniently located to all areas, with three showers and four bathrooms.

Each camp cabin has a large deck with sitting areas and a gas barbeque. Indoor living space includes a queen bed and a twin, with two cabins offering loft accommodations. Each cabin contains a refrigerator and microwave and all necessary kitchen utensils. Pillows and blankets are supplied; also linens upon special request.

Situated close to the riverside for spectacular views of the tidal flow and birdlife, enjoy watching the rise and fall of the 28′ Bay of Fundy tide, various species of birds including eagles, the hardwood hills, delightful sunsets, salt/fresh water marshes and slate river banks. We are located 0.5km from the village of Bear River.

Watch bald eagles soar above you as the tide comes in. Walk on the bottom of the river to study the incredible rock formations along the river banks, search for fossils and distinctive flora.

Launching facilities are on site for those who want to bring their own canoe or kayak, and there’s a floating boat dock. A trip on the river is both spectacular and educational.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, cash or cheque.
