Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival

The Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival is a springtime celebration of traditions and agricultural heritage with parades, fireworks and other family friendly, fun and mostly free events at the peak time of beautiful blooming apple orchards.

Celebrating its 92nd annual festival in 2025, the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival takes place at the end of May as the apple blossoms are blooming, serving as a warm welcome to travellers visiting Nova Scotia and the beginning of the busy summer season.  From its creation in 1933 as a tribute to the apple blossoms in the many apple orchards, traditions and agricultural heritage of the Annapolis Valley, the festival has grown to be a yearly homecoming for families and friends and has garnered national and international recognition.

Many of the events taking place throughout the festival are free and take place in communities throughout the Annapolis Valley. Activities and events include opening ceremonies, live music and entertainment. Food Truck rallies, vendor markets, and the popular Grand Street Parade.
