Emera Blue Nose Marathon

Known as “The People’s Marathon”, the Blue Nose Marathon welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to promote and celebrate healthy living and active lifestyles. It is one of the most anticipated community events each year in Halifax.

With the help of over a thousand volunteers, there are six running events (5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, marathon team relay, and the youth running events – 4K and 2K) taking place during Victoria Day weekend every year.

The course is known to have its fair share of hills, but organizers are sure that it’s nothing you can’t conquer. Plus, the whole city of Halifax will be cheering you on! All races begin and end at the Emera Oval. You’ll pass by all of Halifax’s points of attraction, including Citadel Hill, Point Pleasant Park, and the beautiful downtown core.
